Beautiful little place, impeccably maintained, simple and elevated decoration. The views are amazing with little between the property and the resort. The pool is small, but the view is everything. You can walk to all kinds of restaurants and coffee shops as well as lots of beach right there. The only thing that was a surprise was that there are train tracks between the property and the cliff, but they are mostly commuter trains and very quiet. I didn't know trains could be that quiet! Highly recommend. My wife and I loved it!

What a wonderful hidden Gem in Del Mar. The Views are just gorgeous. The resort is amazing and intimate. Not like the huge resorts with the crowds. The staff from the front desk to the employee cleaning, smiled and greeted us each time. They were always asking if we needed anything. You won't be disappointed.

Everything has been perfect! The room was very clean, the staff was friendly and helpful, the grounds were beautiful with lots of amenities. So close to the beach and great places to shop & eat! We're looking forward to returning for another visit soon.

Thank you Brianna for smooth check-in last Sunday. We just love the room 17 C location . Beautiful view overlooking the Ocean and on ground floor.

New staff at counter did not have enough training. She was nice but had no idea how to help. I returned a stained sheet to front desk Sunday afternoon. My fiancé was horrified by the stains. We didn’t notice the first night and slept in them that night. I took to front desk and the guy said he has seen these before and was from the pull out sofas. He asked if this is where it came from and I said no then he asked was it from our queen bed and I said look at our reservation as we had a king bed. He said he would turn into the manager of housekeeping. I asked for new sheets and he brought me one and it wasn’t the right size. It was a queen top sheet. My wife slept on couch and I slept on top of the bed. Was disgusting for a nice inn to have stained sheets then the front desk said he has seen these stained sheets before. Just horrible and no one reached out to me.

Resort is very well kept. In excellent location. Front desk staff is so so nice, kind, helpful attentive as well as professional. Service with a smile.

Fantastic location, accommodation and service! Reception always super helpful with any questions we had, making our stay a wonderful experience. Plus my wife left her AirPods which they rescued for us and very kindly posted to us all the way to the UK. Thank you so much reception!!!!!

Of all the Southern California beach resorts, only WaveCrest is situated DIRECTLY ON THE BEACH IN DEL MAR, CALIFORNIA and there is no traffic, no highways or roads between the resort and the ocean! The only sounds we fortunate residents/guests hear are of crashing waves & friends enjoying life at it's very best!
